The Colts are off in search of adventure, AGAIN. We hope you will enjoy traveling along with us. We left home on August 6 and after our usual stop at South of the Border Campground we arrived at Steve's mom's house the next day. As some of you may know, Mom is moving from her home of 58 years to a beautiful 2 bedroom Senior Apartment here in Edgewater (Annapolis). You can only imagine what is involved in dealing the accumulation of all those years. There is stuff that moves with her, stuff that goes to various family and friends, stuff that goes to consignment, stuff that goes to charity, stuff that gets thrown out, and stuff for a yard sale. There is other stuff too...too much to mention!
Anyway, Mom is a delightful lady who inspires many friends and family members to want to help her, so we were not alone. I won't go into any more detail except to say that with the help of those awesome friends and family, she is comfortably ensconced in her new apartment, and the house goes on the market today. Everyone is tired but glad to see that she is in such a nice place. We owe a special debt of gratitude to John & Sharon, Bob & Peggy, Bethany & Ryan, Dave, and Pam (who fed us dinner every night).
